Privacy policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal data.
Last updated 17 October 2026.
This policy explains how Savfol Fitness ("Savfol", "we") collects and uses personal data, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
What we collect
- Details you send us on WhatsApp, by phone or by email: name, phone number, branch, preferred times, experience level, goals and messages. The booking and contact forms on this website do not store or send anything themselves. They open WhatsApp with your message filled in, and nothing reaches us until you press send.
- Membership and payment records: plan, amount, dates and payment reference. Payments are arranged with us on WhatsApp. This website does not take payments or card details.
- Analytics data, only if you accept cookies: pages visited and buttons clicked.
When you message us on WhatsApp, the message is carried by WhatsApp, a service run by Meta. WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to how it handles your messages.
Why we use it
- To arrange your free trial, reply to enquiries, take payments and manage your membership (contract and legitimate interest).
- To send updates and offers, only if you opt in (consent). You can unsubscribe any time.
- To understand which pages help people join (consent, via cookies).
How long we keep it
Enquiries and trial requests: 12 months. Membership and payment records: 6 years for tax purposes. Marketing consent: until you withdraw it.
Cookies and maps
Essential storage remembers your cookie choice. Google Analytics and Google Maps load only after you select "Accept all". You can change your choice with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
Photos and testimonials
We publish member photos and testimonials only with recorded written consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or move your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing savfolfitness@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
